Meta: Kick-off Post

This is my first official post from my new wordpress.com blog.  I started off on tumblr, but found myself craving a platform that worked a little better with longer, text-centric posts; plus the inability to wrap text around images was pretty much a deal breaker.  So here I am: metawriting part II.  I intend to keep things pretty much the same, but I hope to include more reviews, craft essays, and reflections.  I am also planning on including interviews, and links to articles that I find interesting, as well as inspirational quotes.  My use of categories and tags should keep things pretty straightforward, but you can also expect to see short, descriptive words and phrases in all my titles just to give you a heads-up about what you’re getting into.  For example, this post is called “meta” because it’s a blog post about my blog.  You’ll see others like “craft essay” “review” “observations” “reflections” and more.  So stay tuned and feel free to leave a comment, or shoot me an email with any thoughts or suggestions.
